Deacon Leo Sharron was ordained to the permanent deaconate in July of 2006. He is currently assigned to St. Michael and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Churches in Cuero, TX. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology as well as a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both from the University of Houston-Victoria. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in counselor education from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Deacon Leo is also a chaplain for Hospice of South Texas, providing emotional and spiritual support to terminally ill patients and their families as well as grief counseling. Deacon Leo is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Texas licensed LPC (#81438).
