Ashlyn Steffek is licensed by the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor Associate and has been affiliated with The Emmaus Center since June 2021. Ashlyn is supervised by Supervised by Brenda Whitfield M.Ed. LPC-S, RPT-S.

Ashlyn has many years of experience working with youth, including teaching at Yoakum High School for three years. She serves clients of all ages; however, she particularly enjoys working with youth. She works to help clients improve their overall wellbeing, but specializes in treating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and low self-esteem. She earned her bachelor of science and arts in human development and family sciences at the University of Texas and her master of science in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria.

Ashlyn is newly married, and she and her husband are active members of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Shiner.
