The Emmaus Center is taking the following precautions to protect our clients and our staff.
Please call the office when you arrive for your session and someone will let you in the waiting area.
Waiting area and counseling room seating accommodates physical distancing guidelines.
Therapists will maintain appropriate distancing otherwise they wear a mask.
Restroom hand soap will be maintained and anyone entering The Emmaus Center will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the counseling rooms, the waiting area, and at the reception desk.
Sessions are scheduled at varying intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room and to properly disinfect counseling rooms between clients.
We ask that you will limit persons accompanying a child or dependent client to 1 person and no siblings at this time.
We ask that all persons accompying clients wait in their vehicle during sessions unless their child is 10 years old or younger.
We ask that you wear a face mask or face covering.
We ask that you please take your/your child’s temperature before coming to each session.
We ask all clients to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their session. If you arrive more than 15 minutes later than your session, it will be rescheduled.
Areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly disinfected after each use.
Physical contact will not be permitted.
Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash will be disposed of on a frequent basis.
The waiting area and restrooms will be disinfected throughout the day.
Toys are disinfected after each use.
We ask that if any child or adult client develops symptoms of any kind of illness, please notify The Emmaus Center as soon as you are aware. As always you can call us at 361-212-0830.
